The most megalomaniac concert of the megalomaniac series will have the honour to serve as the grand opening of the 2015/16 concert series. Cristian Mandeal will lead our orchestra through this musical adventure, which rings excess with all its bells. The season opens with Brahms’ Double Concerto, with acclaimed musicians Sergej Krylov and Mario Brunello featured as soloists. This is followed by monumental works of the famous Italian megalomaniac – Ottorino Respighi, distinctive for their luxurious orchestration, rich sound and diverse orchestral colours: Feste Romane, Fontane di Roma and Pini di Roma.
